the highlight of the day is the Parade, which of course, is so nice you see it twice. It was also twice as long as usual due to the upcoming elections.

A nice crowd. We were lucky to get there before the parade, the cars were backed up into the freeway at the Wagon Mound exit. Lots of people missed the beginning of the parade, but fortunately....It's so nice, you see it twice!Nice to hear Rancheros sung by guys on horses. will try to get the movie to load some other time.
After eating, we went home through Ocate, stopped at the Salman Ranch, got some Rockyford melons by the side of the road where we turned to go through Truchas.
