Reservior Dog

Wait! She's a Reservation Dog! Meet Ms Mika. We found her at Irma's at Two Grey Hills two days after she was dropped off in the area. The girls fell in love with her. She is sweet, gentle, and not a yapper.
Today, we met up with Irma and her sister at Cuba to make the transfer, then drove back through on Highway 126, cutting off 31 miles and 15 minutes from our trip. What a glorious day to be in the Mountains of New Mexico. The little mutt is a good traveler.

Discovery Weekend

It had been a week since we had gone on a Road Trip. So, we gathered up Mom and headed North, though Coyote and Regina. Got to see the Murphys.
It is always fun to be with the cousins. Trish and Kat encouraged the girls and me to go to the finale of the Story Telling Festival. We go to see Waddie Mitchell and Willy Claflin.
Sunday we got to Gordy and Michele. They went to China and helped to pave the way for me to adopt my precious angels.
then we went down to Two Grey Hills and got to see two guys buy two Two Grey Hills Rugs.
The foliage was really fabulous. Somehow my camera stayed in the car on the Res.
The new tarantula is a treasure.

Quaking

Mom and I decided to take a run to the Jemez this morning. It was a beautiful day and we went for a short hike on the Coyote Pass trail. Some nice person left a walking stick at the entrance for Mom.

Everything was green and healthy
The aspens were at many different stages, but were more yellow than in my pictures. We loved this short juniper.

Then we went on a van ride through part of the Valle Calderas, then on to Jemez Springs for a lunch at the Laughing Lizard, where we could hardly hear ourselves due to the bike run that was going through and hanging around town. Stopped to make a movie of the quaking aspens, got to have a bike go by.
