We had a lovely trip to Sequoia National Park It was a wonderful trip to take Mom to see the big Trees . I had never been to the park and was amazed at the beauty of the area. There were few people and everyone was friendly and polite.
The Lincoln tree.
There was enough snow on the hiking trails to make it so we couldn't go far of the roads. This Bear and a smaller blond one were about a 1/2 mile from where we went on one hike.
The drive was nice, we missed most of the heat through the desert, got to see cousin Allen in Kingman. M got to talk Ranger with a real Ranger/Relative!

Them's big trees! Yet another place I need to visit. Thanks for taking Mom to see them.
THANKS INDEED, POSS! The trip was splendid! And I think all I had said was, "I sure would like to see the redwoods before I die." And suddenly everything was arranged and we were on the way!
I should say! They are HUGE!
