Naan such Fun

The girls and I have been dealing with the snow all day, We have shoveled about every two hours to keep ahead of the mess. It is still coming down steadily.

To help us through the day, I made Naan. Yumm.


We, too have footprints that are not our own on our backporch.

We are having a lovely White Christmas! Lots of lovely presents. Chuck, more on the Dragon? It is beautiful!

Another Snow Day

and even worse than last week's.
It would not have been so bad except that the wind is blowing 30-40 mph and has drifted the snow over the steps which I had to shovel again.

It SNOWED for a long time, and I had to shovel and shovel.

the kids were out of school for the day, and they sledded and played nearly all day.

Was the topic of Tumor Board. Two of us knew the expression, but I was the only one with a recollection of actually hearing it in an old kiddie show. We asked everyone over 50 if they knew what show it was on. Finally, Dean the pharmacist gave the right answer.

Home Safety

Just wanted to let everyone know that when you are putting beaters into a hand mixer, either do it with the thing unplugged, or don't accidentally turn it on and grind your middle finger in the beaters.
It really hurts to beat my finger in the beaters and it appears to have done some nerve damage. Typing felt like I was being stung by wasps every time I hit the c,d, and e keys. So, I went and got a finger splint and I can type again. It is clumsy, but doable.

Be careful, it's a jungle in the kitchen.
